CALL THE SITTER

  • Jan 16: Skip Castro Band @ Jefferson Theater
Four friends who started a band in the 70s are still going strong nearly 50 years later. That is a huge accomplishment in and of itself, but the fact that they’re all really talented musicians makes it all the better.

  • Jan 16: Krispies, No Composure, The Coast, Loose Champagne @ The Southern Café & Music Hall
UVA has a really cool music club on campus that brings indie bands to Charlottesville. This four-band bill covers a wide swath of sounds, and there are so many excited music fans involved with this event so we want it to be a success.

  • Jan 17: Christmas Tree Burning @ Visible Records
They are actually burning Christmas trees! So it’s nice and toasty though it may be cold outside. It’s the annual fundraiser for Visible Records that will feature 6 acts this year and covers electronica, rap, and punk.
