MINT SPRING, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Augusta County Sheriff has a Waynesboro man in custody after he allegedly fired shots at a man Sunday morning in the 200 block of White Hill Road, just off the Mint Spring exit of I-81. The sheriff’s office got a call of shots fired around 8:30am from a victim who said a suspect fired multiple shots, several striking his vehicle. He then took off in a tan, 4-door Buick sedan.

Deputies arrived and established a perimeter and collected evidence at the scene connected to 27-year old David Lee Blair of Waynesboro. Several hours later, he turned himself in to the sheriff’s office. No one was hurt, and investigators say this was an isolated domestic incident. Blair is charged with using a firearm in a threatening manner while attempting aggravated malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, and maliciously shooting into an occupied vehicle.
