Missing Chesterfield Teen Found Safe; Alert Cancelled

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATED 10:11 AM, 9/6: Arian Terese Christiancy, previously reported missing, has been successfully located and is safe, according to Virginia State Police.

Early this morning, a critically missing adult alert was issued as Virginia State Police and the Chesterfield County Police Department searched for 18-year-old Arian Terese Christiancy. Described as 5’5” and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, Christiancy was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants, carrying a blue backpack on Reedy Branch Road in Chesterfield around 10 AM last Thursday.

Virginia State Police had expressed concern for her safety, stating that her disappearance posed a credible threat to her health and safety. Residents were urged to visit the Virginia State Police active alerts page for more information and were encouraged to contact Chesterfield PD at 804-748-1251 with any information regarding Christiancy’s whereabouts.
