CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – The UVA Men’s Basketball team has had a big few days with three commitments coming in via the transfer portal.  It started over the weekend when they landed 4-star guard Jaylen Worley who decided to transfer to UVA after being a starter for FSU last season.  On Monday they also added 3-star guard Elijah Saunders who made the decision to transfer from San Diego State to join Tony Bennett’s Wahoos.  Saunders was a 3-star recruit but was projected to be a starter this year for the Aztecs and played on their final four team two years ago.  Finally, the “big fish” of this current group is forward TJ Power, a 5-star recruit who was the number 4 power forward and number 17 player overall in his class last year.  He originally chose Duke but has decided to transfer to UVA.  Power is the highest rated recruit ever to be signed by Tony Bennett.  For more analysis on the Men’s Basketball team be sure to tune in to the ‘Best Seat in the House’ weeknights at 6pm on WINA.
