Virginia flags join American flags at half-staff for Charlie Kirk’s death

CHARLOTTESVILE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Gov. Glenn Youngkin ordered Virginia flags flown at half-staff through sunset Sept. 14, “in memory and respect of Charlie Kirk”, the founder of Turning Point USA shot and killed while he was speaking at a Utah college. The Governor declares it pursuant to President Trump’s order for the American flag.

5th District Republican Congressional Rep. John McGuire posted on social media about Kirk’s death, “A young life was taken from this world today. Charlie Kirk was a devoted father, husband, and Christian who deeply loved our nation and the American people.
