State Police: Ruckersville man dies in Wyatt Mountain Rd. crash

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Ruckersville man died Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Shenandoah National Park in Greene County, according to a Virginia State Police release.

Kody Lee Oliver, 26, was driving a 1994 Toyota Forerunner south on Wyatt Mountain Road near St. George around 7:16 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road and overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.

While the crash is under investigation, State Police said alcohol was a factor.
