Juvenile charged with Mill Creek Dr. pellet gun brandishing

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A juvenile is in custody after a Friday evening disorder report in the area of Mill Creek Drive and Independence Way.

Albemarle Police were called to the scene around 6:47 p.m. and located a juvenile wielding a pellet gun near the Monticello High School parking lot.

The individual was taken into custody without incident, and police say there’s no ongoing threat to the public.

No one was hurt, and the juvenile is being held at the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Center on a brandishing charge.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
