CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Jaunt’s current CONNECT bus stop on 29 North will move from Timberwood Blvd. in Hollymead, near the Food Lion, to Hollymead Town Center, near Kohl’s and First Free Coffee, beginning Monday, Aug. 3.

“Based on the construction going on at Food Lion, they no longer wanted the stop there, and so we relocated it,” Jaunt Marketing and Communications Manager Milton Steppe told Cville Right Now.

Steppe also mentioned the new space will utilize not only large amounts of available parking for commuters, but also a pair of existing benches and a signpost from when the location was used as a stop in the past.

The stop at the Food Lion will be used until Friday, July 31. Commuters should expect this update to the service at the beginning of the new work week.
