CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Stuart Circle house was struck by gunfire early Monday morning, according to Charlottesville Police.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Stuart Circle around 12:45 a.m., CPD announced. They arrived to find dozens of casings in the roadway, and a nearby house shot into and hit several times.

No injuries were reported. The roadway was closed for over two hours as police investigated. That investigation is ongoing.
