Free Union Woman in ICU After Crozet Shooting, Community Holds Prayer Vigil


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Free Union woman is fighting for her life after being shot in the face by a relative during a dispute in Crozet two weeks ago. Family and friends lifted Krystal Frazier in prayer on Monday evening, holding a vigil to support her through her medical battle.

According to her sister, Jamie Frazier, Krystal suffered a stroke on the right side of her brain following the attack. Jamie Frazier also shared that Krystal’s left eye was removed to prevent infection and protect her right eye, and she remains in the ICU battling pneumonia.

A donation jar has been set up at Riverside Lunch, and donations and well wishes can also be sent to PO Box 104, Gordonsville, VA 22942.
