Four Students and Driver Injured in Appomattox County School Bus Crash


A school bus crash in Appomattox County this morning injured four students and the driver.  Virginia State Police reported that though the injuries were minor, all the students and the driver were still transported to the hospital.

The two-vehicle crash took place around 7:40 a.m. (Friday, May 3) at the intersection of Route 460 westbound and Peach Street.

State Police say that the bus was carrying approximately 40 students at the time of the incident.

There is no information available yet on the cause of the crash or whether any charges will be filed.
