ORANGE COUNTY, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – The Orange County Fire Marshal is investigating a fire on the Montpelier Foundation property. According to a post on the Montpelier Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page, the fire broke out Monday evening, April 8. A photo accompanying the post shows the structure that burned appears to part of an archaeology lab on the property.

More information about the fire and conditions firefighters faced will be released mid-day, according to the post.
