UPDATE: Missing Chesterfield Toddler Found Safe

CHESTERFIELD, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative (CODI) Alert issued by the Virginia State Police for 2-year-old Journi Lightfoot has been cancelled after the child was safely located.

Earlier:

Journi is described as a Black female with brown hair, standing 2’8″ tall and weighing 20 pounds. She was last seen in the Richmond area on November 12, 2024. Authorities believe she is with 23-year-old Myya Lightfoot, described as a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5’2″ and weighing 114 pounds.

The Chesterfield County Police Department determined that Journi’s disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
