CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Soggy Tuesday weather has postponed the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s dedication of The Grove at McIntire Park until May 30. A chamber release says “situated beneath 150-year old oak trees in a quiet area of McIntire Park East, The Grove is a community gathering place that invites rest and reflection”. A monument the chamber will dedicate there honors past and present local leaders.

“This monument to community leadership was envisioned and built by a group of private citizens in partnership with the Chamber and the City of Charlottesville,” the release says. The new dedication time is 10am, Thursday, May 30.
