CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police Chief Mike Kochis will hold media availability Monday at 2 to provide updates on the Nassau Street investigation. Many on social media have been critical of the investigation’s preliminary assertion that Edward Anderson first attacked a woman in a parked car before she hit and killed him as she tried to leave in her vehicle.

WINA chief legal analyst, and former federal prosecutor, Tim Heaphy on Morning News speculates Kochis either has information on arrest or charges Monday afternoon or issues a community appeal. Apparently aware of some of the social media criticism, CPD has urged “anyone with first-hand knowledge or video of this incident” to speak with detectives or call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000 to remain anonymous.
