Charlottesville Man Killed in Buckingham County Pedestrian Crash

DILLWYN, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that killed a Charlottesville man last Sunday on Route 15 in Buckingham County. State Police’s Matt Demlein says a 2002 Ford F150 was heading southbound on Route 15, near the intersection with Buckingham Centre Drive,  around 8:20 January 12 when it was unable to avoid a pedestrian who was walking in the southbound lane.  The pedestrian was not wearing reflective clothing. The pedestrian, Tony Frazier, 57, of Charlottesville, Va., died at the scene. The driver of the F150 was not injured.  There are no charges pending.

The crash remains under investigation.
