CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Police have charged a 64-year-old Charlottesville man following a pair of armed robbery attempts at the Pantops Shopping Center on Friday.

Stephen T. Agner was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, according to a release from Albemarle County Police.

He is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
