Belmont Pizza in Charlottesville Closes

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW)Belmont Pizza, located at 221 Carlton Rd Ste 10, has closed, with its last day of service on Sunday, February 16, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The locally owned pizzeria, known for its stone-baked pizza, specialty subs, and fresh salads, had been serving customers in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas for years. While no official announcement has been made by the owners, multiple sources confirm the restaurant has shut its doors.

Belmont Pizza previously operated daily for takeout from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It is unclear whether the closure is temporary or if another business will take over the space.
