Augusta Sheriff’s Office seeks public help finding missing person

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW)- The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating Seth Anthony Osgood.

The 48-year-old Osgood was last seen on March 6.

He is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He drives a black vehicle, but no other details were available about it.

Osgood is known to camp in the National Forest.

If you have information that could help find Osgood, please contact the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office at 540-245-5333.

Update: Mr. Osgood’s camper has been located in the Todd Lake area of the George Washington National Forest, and authorities are actively searching the area.
