STONEY CREEK, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Aqua Virginia says they’ve completed a water treatment facility upgrade project in the Wintergreen-Stoney Creek community that will improve water quality. An announcement says the project involved building a new treatment building equipped with enhanced technology that will enhance water quality. The new facility also improves disinfection and optimizes pH levels of the well water that will minimize corrosion in the distribution system. This investment is part of Aqua’s continuing infrastructure improvement program to replace decades-old water and wastewater infrastructure around the country.
