May 7, 2024, AMBER Alert
The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, for a child abduction that occurred on May 6, 2024, at 2018 hours.
The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen on Daniel Boone Road in Gate City, VA.
Abducted is Cedar Samuel Griffith, 10 months old, black male, black hair, brown eyes, 30”, 20 lbs. Last seen wearing only a diaper.
The child is believed to have been abducted by Ashley Jordan Griffith, 30 years old, white female, blond hair, hazel eyes, 5’ 6”, 115lbs.
They may be in a blue 2005 Lexus RX330 with an unknown Tennessee temporary tag .
