UPDATE: Missing Albemarle County Teen Found Safe

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATED AT 6:15am: Albemarle Police say the teen reported missing a has been safely located. That information going out about 1:30 this morning. So the missing person report is cancelled.

Albemarle County Police Department is currently seeking the whereabouts of 16-year-old Creighton Doherty. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, black shorts, and blue crocs with white socks in the parking lot of Monticello High School at 11:06 am on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Creighton Doherty is urged to call ACPD at 434-296-5807 or 911.
