ACPD responds to shots fired at Peyton Dr. Wednesday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW)- Albemarle County Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2400 block of Peyton Dr. on Wednesday morning, according to ACPD spokesperson Logan Bogert.

No injuries were reported.  

Numerous shell casings were found at the scene. 

A witness reported damage to multiple vehicles at the apartment complex located at the address.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
