The University of Virginia says an administrator accidentally sent an email with the personal information of 155 students at the School of Law. Officials say the email sent earlier this week through a mass mailing list included a spreadsheet that contained grade-point averages, class ranking and personal biographical information on students who applying to be a law clerk. The email did not include social security numbers or financial information. The Daily Progress reports the error is the most recent in a string of accidental disclosures of personal information at UVA in the last several years. The Social Security numbers of over 18,000 students were included on health insurance packets sent out last summer through the regular mail.
