Weekend event will honor the late Pherbia Tinsley

(CHARLOTTESVILLE – WINA)   The friends and family of the late Pherbia Tinsley will come together at noon Saturday in Forest Hill Park.   Tinsley was found slumped over the wheel of her car in the 800-block of Prospect Avenue on July 15th, 2012.

Kenny Jarels of the AWARE Foundation says Tinsley’s family and friends will do a balloon release Saturday afternoon.  Charlottesville Police continue to investigate her murder.  An unknown suspect is described as a muscular African-American male who’s between 5’8 and 5’11.  Jarels was a guest on “Charlottesville…Right Now” with Les Sinclair.
