STANARDSVILLE (WINA) – Greene County offices are closed, and the Town of Stanardsville and surrounding areas are without water until further notice, after a major water main break in the vicinity of Ice House Road. The break happened around 8:30am, and schools on the Stanardsville campus were dismissed at 10 this morning.
Ruckersville Elementary is not affected by the break and has continued as scheduled.
The school system later today will make a determination of any scheduled after-school events.
