War Of Words Continues Over Mark Herring’s Actions

Many Virginia Republicans say Attorney General Mark Herring disgraced his office when he refused to defend Virginia’s ban on same-sex marriages. Prince William GOP Delegate Bob Marshall (pictured) says Herring is showing contempt for Virginia voters. Fairfax Democratic Delegate Eileen Filler-Corn is defending Herring. She cites recent polls among Virginia’s voters who are under 30. Virginia voters approved a constitutional amnedment that bans same-sex marriages in 2006.
