Two UVa national champion teams visit the White House

WASHINGTON, DC (WINA) – The UVa women’s swimming and diving team, and men’s tennis teams were among national champion teams at the White House this (Monday) morning for the first-ever College Athletes Day. They were among 47 teams representing 19 sports in all three NCAA divisions on-hand celebrated by Vice President Kamala Harris.

Hoos’ women’s swimming and diving has won three straight national championships, while men’s tennis has just gone back-to-back.
