Students at University of Virginia must pay more for a dorm room and for meal plans

(CHARLOTTESVILLE – WINA)    Students at the University of Virginia will have to pay more this fall for a dorm room and for their meal plans.   School officials have a green light to increase the cost of housing by 3.5 %, and the average student’s meal plan will go up by 3%.

UVA’s Colette Sheehy says the McCormick Road dorms, which were built in the 1950’s are getting a facelift.
