State Police have not forgotten the Alicia Reynolds case

(RICHMOND – WINA)   State Police say the unsolved murder of Alicia Showalter Reynolds is still an active investigation.  The 25-year-old grad student was last seen alive March 2nd, 1996 when she left John Hopkins University, and headed south on Route 29.  Her body was unearthed two months later on a remote logging trail east of Culpeper.

Witnesses have told police a white man with light brown hair between the ages of 35 and 45 had pulled up beside Reynolds in a dark-colored pickup.   State Police spokeswoman Corrine Geller says her agency’s detectives hope to hear from the public.  You can call the State Police Culpeper Division toll-free at 1-800-572-2260, or the Bureau of Criminal Investigation toll-free at 1-888-300-0156.
