Some Virginians Try To Save Columbia From Disincorporation

Photo: WINA

An online group is trying to raise $20,000 to save a tiny town. Columbia is the smallest town in the Commonwealth, and it’s home to fewer than 100 people. Columbia’s current leaders are considering disincorporating the town, which borders the James River. On August 19th, the Town Council will take up the issue.
If Columbia disincorporates, Fluvanna County would have to absorb it.
