Shooting at Cavalier Crossing Apartments

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA -On February 15, 2023, at approximately 11:35 am, Albemarle County officers responded to a shots fired call in the 200 block of Wahoo Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered 1 juvenile victim who was transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center, via Albemarle County Fire Rescue.

This was an isolated incident involving a drug deal and there is no threat to the public. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
