A onetime Albemarle County teacher has pleaded guilty to another child sex crime in the Shenandoah Valley. John Daniel Patterson, Jr., entered his latest plea earlier this week in Waynesboro Circuit Court.
The 67-year-old Patterson (pictured) is already serving a five year sentence for online sex charges in Augusta County. The Waynesboro resident was arrested in an online sting that involved a sheriff’s deputy who posed as a 13-year-old boy online. Patterson taught at Western Albemarle High School for 28 years before he retired.
