The UVA Medical Center has a new chief operating officer. Bill Fulkerson comes from Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he’s the Associate Operating Officer. He previously worked at Duke.

Fulkerson has 15 years of experience in leadership roles at academic medical centers. He starts at UVA on August 1st.
