(CHARLOTTESVILLE – WINA)   A Louisiana woman has become Albemarle’s fifth traffic fatality of the year.   County Police say 74-year-old Evelyn Hamlett of Winnsboro, Louisiana, died Sunday at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Hamlett passed away from injuries she suffered earlier in the day…when her car veered off 29 South near Plank Road in the North Garden area.  She had no passengers in her car.
