Louisa Man Dies In House Fire

An elderly Louisa County man is our region’s latest fire victim. Firefighters say he was found shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday in a house near Route 522 in the Mineral area.

A neighbor managed to rescue the victim’s wife. His name has not been released. State Police closed Route 522 in both directions for several hours.
