Juan Carlos Argueta pleads guilty to felony charges

(CHARLOTTESVILE – WINA)   For a second time this week, a suspect in the 2017 death of a man has pleaded guilty to felony charges.   Juan Carlos Argueta was in an Albemarle courtroom on Thursday pleading guilty to counts of gang participation and murder by mob.   Charges of abduction and first-degree murder were dropped.  He will be sentenced December 4th.

On Wednesday, Eduardo Zelaya pleaded guilty to the same charges.   The victim’s body was found July 4th, 2017 in Moores Creek.
