Grandparents and parents charged in Waynesboro dog mauling death of little girl

WAYNESBORO (WINA) – The parents and grandparents have been arrested, the grandparents charged with murder, in a January dog attack that killed a 7-year girl in Waynesboro. 60-year old Stephen Kachmar and 64-year old Penny Baschlor are the grandparents facing murder among 4 other charges in a January 29th attack by a Rottweiler of 7-year old Olivia Grace Floyd. The attack happened the afternoon of January 29 in the 200 block of Parker Heights Road in Waynesboro… and both grandparents are Waynesboro residents.

Olivia’s parents… 39-year old Anthony and 37-year old Alicia Floyd… of Augusta County are charged with cruelty resulting in injury to a child. Police are not releasing details. A woman also mauled by the 4-year old dog was treated at Augusta Health and released.
