Fire Damages Crozet Area House

Fire destroyed an outbuilding and damaged a house Wednesday night in the Crozet area. It happened just before 8 p.m. at 523 Shelton Mill Road. That’s south of 250 West and east of Miller School Road.

Firefighters saw the outbuilding burning when they got there and the main house beginning to burn. Nobody was injured, but the family was displaced.

Total damage is estimated at around $20,000. The cause is not known at this time.
