City Police investigating shots fired Friday night on 12th Street NW

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Charlottesville Police are investigating a Friday evening incident where shots were fired in the 500 block of 12th Street NW, just south of Grady Avenue, and two unoccupied vehicles were hit. The incident happened just before 8:30 Friday night and arriving officers found shell casings at the scene and the two hit vehicles.

No one is reported injured, and there is no suspect description. Anyone with information related to this incident, please contact Charlottesville Police at (434)970-3280.
