Charlottesville Man Faces New Sexual Assault Charges

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met on craigslist has new legal troubles. 30-year-old Nathaniel Lamb (pictured), a registered sex offender, faces additional charges in Albemarle. County Police say Lamb was arrested Saturday on charges of abduction, forcible sodomy and object penetration. He’s being held without bond at the Regional Jail. Lamb was out on bond while he waited for a Charlottesville trial on abduction and rape charges. A city grand jury already indicted Lamb and his trial is scheduled for next March. His problems started a decade ago when he pleaded guilty to soliciting an Albemarle minor and had to register as a sex offender.
