Black Cat Road has reopened to traffic. The road was closed Wednesday morning so the Buckingham Branch Railroad could make emergency repairs. VDOT originally expected the closure would last until Thursday afternoon. Black Cat Road, also known as Route 616, is in the Keswick area of Albemarle County.
