Albemarle Police seek Charlottesville man in Covesville area murder

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Albemarle Police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 58-year old Charlottesville resident James Elliot Fitch in the Saturday night murder of a woman in the Covesville area. Albemarle Police responded shortly after 9:30 Saturday night to Wingspread Lane just off 29 and found 55-year old Yvette Fitch of Charlottesville had been shot to death. Fitch is wanted for 2nd-degree murder.
