CROZET (WINA) – Albemarle County is hosting not one… but TWO… Trunk or Treat events over the next week in the eastern and western parts of the county. The first is Thursday from 4-to-7 at Claudius Crozet Park, and the second next Monday from 4-to-7 at Darden Towe. You’re urged to come out in your best costume to meet members of ACPD’s K9, Bike, and Traffic teams as well as Albemarle County Fire Rescue and other local partners.

A county release says “these events are designed to spread awareness about pedestrian safety, highlight local organizations, and of course, spread a little spooky cheer.” “Passports will be handed out to participants to guide them to the various decorated “trunks” where they will earn a treat and learn a safety tip.”
