A Louisa man who was jailed after a dispute in an Albemarle parking lot is facing a first-degree murder charge. Ron Jasper and his twin Tron were arrested September 24th after a younger man was shot in the face outside the Cavalier Crossing apartments.

The original charge against Ron Jasper (pictured left) was malicious wounding. He’s now facing a first-degree murder charge following the death of 26-year-old Rahsaan Branham-Reid. Branham-Reid died October 20th.

Tron Jasper (pictured right) has been sentenced to a year in jail for brandishing a firearm. A judge has suspended half of his sentence.
