Looking for something fun, local, and just a little bit different to get into this spring? We’ve got a great one for you in Madison County!

The Madison County Parks and Recreation Authority is hosting the 9th Annual Hoover Ridge Wool and Wine Festival on Saturday, April 25th from noon to 5 at Hoover Ridge Park in Madison.

And this is one of those events that truly has a little bit of everything.

You’ve got local wineries like Blue Quartz, Prince Michel, and Mountain Run Winery pouring tastings… live music from Brandy Station Company from 1 to 4… plus food trucks, vendors, and plenty of space to just kick back and enjoy a beautiful spring afternoon.

And here’s where it gets really cool…

The festival is happening alongside the annual sheepdog trials, which actually kick off at 8 AM—and that part is free to watch. So, you can make a whole day of it!

If you’re planning to sample some wine, tickets are $15 in advance through April 19th, or $20 the day of the event. And if you grab those presale tickets, you’ll get a complimentary tasting glass while supplies last.

Not drinking? No problem. General admission is just 5 bucks, and kids under 18 get in free.

They’ve also got a full kids’ area with bounce houses, big building blocks, and activities to keep the little ones busy while you relax.

And best of all, this event supports a great cause—proceeds benefit the Hoover Ridge Outdoor Recreation Center Project, helping build something special right there in the community.

It’s happening rain or shine, so bring a chair, maybe a pop-up tent, and settle in for a great day.
