If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, good music, and supporting a great cause, make plans now for one of Culpeper’s tastiest traditions.
The Culpeper Young Professionals are hosting their 17th Annual Charity Crab Feast on Saturday, August 29th at beautiful Mountain Run Winery.
This all-you-can-eat event has become one of the area’s premier summer gatherings, bringing together great food, local businesses, and community members for a day of fun and fundraising.
Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat steamed crabs and Low Country Boil, along with live music from Curt Davis, refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the winery’s scenic setting.
Early bird tickets are available for $75 through August 14th. After that, tickets are $85 per person and will also be available at the door. Not a crab fan? There are other options available, including a non-crab meal deal and an all-you-can-eat hamburger and hot dog package.
This year’s event will benefit Operation First Response, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial, emotional, and personal support to veterans and their families during difficult times. The organization serves veterans right here in our community and helps make a real difference when it’s needed most.
The Culpeper Young Professionals say the annual Crab Feast not only supports an important cause, but also helps fund networking, leadership development, and community service programs throughout the year.
Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help make the event a success. Volunteers receive an event T-shirt and time to enjoy some crab and Low Country Boil during the festivities.
