Sooner or later, depression shows up in all our lives. To remind us of the importance of asking for help, Sentara and the Martha Jefferson Hospital Foundation have teamed up with the Virginia Stage Company to sponsor a touring production of the internationally acclaimed Every Brilliant Thing. This uplifting show follows the story of a young boy who starts a running list of the everyday things that make living worth living to ease his mother’s depression and finds that the list changes his own life as well.
The presentation will be held at Piedmont Virginia Community College’s V. Earl Dickinson Theater on Wednesday, February 1st at noon and is free to anyone that would like to attend.
