The trek is taking place Saturday, July 22nd at UVA! Run or walk to raise awareness and prevention of human trafficking in Central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley!
Your participation will help provide FREE resources like audience specific presentations, occupation specific training, and youth programs.
The Trek to Prevent Trafficking will begin at UVA’s Memorial to Enslaved Laborers located at 1620 University Avenue, at the edge of the University of Virginia’s Grounds in the sloping landscape of the “Triangle of Grass” close to the intersection of University Avenue and Elliewood Avenue.
Arrows and volunteers will be along the course to direct runners and walkers!
The race will then conclude near Newcomb Hall with waters and Bodo’s Bagels!
