The Somerset Steam & Gas Engine Association annually hosts a Somerset Steam & Gas Pasture Party. The Pasture Party displays exhibits of steam boilers and engines, gas engines, tractors, antique and classic cars, demonstrations of threshing and baling, and any other displays or demonstrations that are in keeping with the theme of the event. The Pasture Party is open to the general public. A gate donation is requested to offset costs.
This year’s Pasture Party will offer steam cooked beans, a great food court, a flea market, crafts, and vendors.
Plenty of displays with steam engines, tractors, models, wheat threshing, blacksmiths, sawmill, straw baling, excelsior mill, shingle mill, corn chopping, corn milling, oil drilling rig, Military Groups, and a Church Service on Sunday from 9-10am.
This is a cash only admission – No ATM on site. No credit cards are accepted at the main gate
Gate Donation: $15.00/day per person.
Exhibitors and Children under 12 are FREE!
FREE Parking and FREE Shuttle service from the Parking Lot to Show Grounds.
The Somerset Steam & Gas Pasture Party is a nonprofit show. Although a gate donation is requested, proceeds are split between local charitable organizations, Volunteer Fire Companies, Rescue Squads, Scholarships, and charitable work within the surrounding communities after show expenses are paid.
